It seems production for Transformers 2 is returning to one of the locations where the first took place, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The shoot on the fist film spent 3 months in the town, adding $1 million to the local economy.
Governor Richardson announced today, “Transformers was a huge success and I am pleased that DreamWorks, Paramount Pictures and Michael Bay have decided to return to New Mexico to film the second installment,”.
Filming is due to take place in Alamogordo in the Autumn with preparation having been started in April.
