Dario Brizuela, the artist for IDW’s upcoming Transformers: Animated series, has posted more inked pages from the first issue, Transformers: Animated: Arrival #1. The issue, as you can probably tell, recaps the events from the animated special, “Tranform and Roll Out!”
The story is written by Marty Isenberg with art by Dario. and is due for release in August.
You may have though the covers had already been chosen for the issue, but Alex Milne’s original version was just his own bit of art. He has now upload the real cover to his DeviantArt page, which he describes as “fun”. The colours are by Josh Perez.
with this image i just wanted to do something fun. i tried to still give this piece an animated feel to it while still giving it my own personal tweaks so thats its a combo of styles.
Transformers Animated Arrival #1 is due out in August and is written by Marty Isenberg with art from Dario Brizuela.
