Continuing his post script blogging, SImon Furman has posted his thoughts and teasers for his next series, The Transformers: Maximum Dinobots.
As well as revealing the characters who appear in the issue, he confirms that the story will follow on from Spotlight: Grimlock. The final bit of news is that the first issue (of the 5 part series) will be released in October, following on from Revelations.
Art for the series is being done by Nick Roche.
This is mainly for all the complainers, but also for people asking the question, what happened to Ironhide during IDW’s Transformers: Devastation series? Well, artist Nick Roche has posted a “100% official and Ryall/Hasbro/SimFur approved” page to fill in the gap between the end of Devastation and Spotlight: Cyclonus (Revelation Part 1).
In an interview with Denton J. Tipton, Editor at IDW, he lets out that Nick Roche is working with Simon Furman on the series set after Transformers Revelation, but before All Hail Megatron, Maximum Dinobots.
9. Also what kind of story would you like to get published if you had total freedom (unused character one-shot, Japanese stuff…)?
Probably Simon Furman doing a Dinobots miniseries with Nick Roche. Oh, wait. I already get to do that! Did I mention that I have a great job?
IDW artist Nick Roche has been interviewed by Transfans.net. Many of you may know Nick from his work on Metrodome’s Super-God Masterforce and Victory DVD covers and IDW’s upcoming The Transformers Spotlight: Shockwave comic.
