As the title says, Jim Sorenson, the creator of Transformers: The Ark and The Ark II, has a new blog. In his first post, he has decided to provide a bit of history about himself and how he came up with the idea for The Ark books.
Also in the post is a piece of art that he couldn’t fit into the books, featuring aliens from the G1 episode Chaos.
If the previous preview from Chris Ryall hasn’t convinced you to purchase Transformers: The Ark II this week, maybe this new preview from IDW Editor Denton J. Tipton will.
On his blog, he has posted 5 pages from the book, including the contents page, which should give you an idea of the material that will be included in the 208 page guide. There is also a clean, high resolution version of the cover by Nick Roche.
Transformers: The Ark II is coming out this week, featuring character models from the Japanese Generation One series, and to give you an idea of what to look for in your local comic store, IDW Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall has posted the final cover for the issue and a copy fo the Fortress character page.
The book is highly recommmend as a reference guide for artists and anyone interested in seeing Hasbro/Takara’s official images from back in the day.
