TF Victory on Cult Sci-Fi Legends DVD
Metrodome are releasing Cult Sci-Fi Legends, a DVD compiling episodes from many animated shows as Transformers Generation One, Transformers Victory, Visionaries, Inhumanoids, Shadow Raiders and Bucky O’Hare, is due for release on 5th June in the UK.
The Transformers Victory episodes included are Episode 1 “Star Saber, Head of the Universe” and Episode 4 “Multiforce, Combine!”. It is likely that these are the badly dubbed English episodes with no subtitles. The G1 episode is “More Than Meets The Eye Day One”.

RiD DVD pre-order up
Thanks to Overload on the forums for pointing this one out – Play.Com now have the first RiD DVD volume up for pre-order. Retails at £12.99, with Play’s discount, it’s only £9.99. Extras listed are character profiles and bloopers, but more are sure to come. Contains the first eight episodes of the series. Check it out HERE.
BBFC rate Super-God Masterforce
The BBFC have (finally) rated all 42 episodes of Metrodome’s Transformers The Takara Collection Vol 2 Super-God Masterforce, due out on DVD on 3rd July only in the UK. The work was rated PG, passed with NO cuts and came in at 967 minutes and 13 seconds (thats over 16 hours of Transformers action). This includes the subtitles. You can also see the newly translated episode titles.
Latest RiD DVD news
The latest word on July’s first DVD release of “Robots in Disguise” is that it’s being bumped up from a single-disc release to two discs, and will contain the first eight episodes of the series, rather than just the first five.
No Complete RID DVD Set
As Chris McFeely reported earlier, thetf.net forum member Casperuk had mentioned that Play.com have dispatched his order for the Complete RID Boxset, which had been confirmed as cancelled last month. Casperuk got his package today and had this to say

of course i called up and said OI whats going on and asked if i could have the second box set and my change

RiD comes to DVD this summer!
As announced by Daz on the forums a little while ago, “Transformers Robots in Disguise” is coming to DVD courtesy of UK company Maximum Entertainment. And now, we’ve got the goods on the first release – set for July 26th, the first disc will contain the first five episodes of the series, with another release set for October. Boxsets are a possibility in the future.
