Look who’s back…
tformers.com has but up an image of the most recent ToyFare cover, showing an eighties revival, featuring GI Joe, He-Man and Transformers. There is an Energon figure on the cover. Doesn’t it look familiar? Click (here comes my first foray into the world of HTML. Wish me luck) here
Ol’ one eye is back!!
The cover of the latest issue of Toyfare magazine has a picture of a new energon figure that looks very reminiscent of that one eyed (but very popular!) freak, Shockwave. This could be the rebirth of one of the best Decepticon characters of all time so keep your eye(s) peeled!!
14/12/2003 Hasbro Reissue Wave VIII Announced
Hasbro have said that Skids will be released in Summer ’04 for the Series 8 line, and according to Canadian TRU computers Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are coming with him!
In other news, all of Energon wave 1 has been sighted in America now, and most in Canada.
Superbase Prime has been marked down to £30 in the Salisbury branch of The Entertainer, so I assume they’re that price in every branch now.
Panini has said that Issue #9 will be last of the Armada UK comics (hurrah!), Powerlinx Jetfire and Red Alert have been seen in the UK, and I have an Armada Wheeljack thanks to Marie and Ira in Australia ^^;
That’s it for now, in the meantime send all fan your fan mail to Specimen_17gh@hotmail.com and get a free reply.

Price fixing cost Argos and Littlewoods dear on Hasbro toys!
Retail giants Argos and Littlewoods have been fined a record £22.5m by the UK’s trading watchdog for fixing the price of toys and games. Argos, Littlewoods, with manufacturer Hasbro, entered into agreements to fix the prices of Hasbro toys and games between 1999 and May 2001, breaching competition rules, the Office of Fair Trading said.
Argos was fined £17.3m ($27.5m) reflecting its high turnover, and Littlewoods was fined £5.4m.
Hasbro, however, was granted full leniency because it provided crucial evidence that initiated the investigation and had its potential penalty of £15.6m waived, the OFT said.
Both Argos and Littlewoods rejected the ruling and said they would appeal. This could mean that Hasbro’s relationship with both Argos and Littlewoods could be irreparably damaged, which would be bad news for Transformers in the UK.
