First Images of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Legends Toys in Package
TFW2005 have received photos of 4 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen legends figures, all in their packaging.
There are the expected characters, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, but also 2 of the new characters, Jetfire and Autobot Springer. The packaging confirms that Jetfire will be a Decepticon in the sequel.
New Revenge Of The Fallen Characters & Alt Mode Confirmations
TFW2005 have received a report from The Hasbro Licensing Summit 2008 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and with it comes lots of Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen SPOILERS.
First up, the Chevy Corvette that has been seen everywhere has been confirmed to be Sideswipe, the red G1 Autobot that originally transformed into a Lamborghini.
The second confirmation is that the Decepticon tape Ravage will be in the sequel, but not as a tape for Soundwave. Ravage is mentioned as having a “very raw beast mode”.
Leader class figures Optimus Prime and Megatron were shown, with Megatron’s figure confirming that his alternative mode is indeed a tank. The Optimus Prime figure will have a new mould from the first film and a new transformation.

Magazine Scans of Hyper Hobby 8

Sunstreaker and Prowl (with the Universe versions as well), Encore Mini-bots, Encore Skywarp and Thundercracker set, Binaltech Optimus Prime, E-Hobby exclusive Guardian Robot and more.
Voyager Optimus Prime & Leader Megatron, Bulkhead, Roll Out & Command Optimus Prime out in UK
Big title, big news, with lots more Transformers: Animated toys having been released in the UK today.
First, voyager class Optimus Prime (earth mode) has been spotted in the Forbidden Planet International store in Edinburgh, costing £19.99. This is a wave 3 figure. Also out are leader class Megatron and Bulkhead (with Headmaster), each in a different Toys R Us store, and costing £39.99. For the same price, Roll Out & Command Optimus Prime was found at Toys R Us in Aberdeen. All three figures are wave 1.
Be on the look out for Lugnut and Grimlock, the wave 2 voyager figures. Happy Hunting!
Picture of Transformers DVD with Optimus Prime Mask
Paramount Home Entertainment have released the first images of the single disc edition of Transformers on DVD with the bonus collectable Optimus Prime mask. There are no new extra features (apart from the Michael Bay commentary) or any other reasons to buy this new DVD package.
The set is released on 2nd September in North America. On the same day, a transforming Megatron DVD package, in the same style as the Optimus Prime version, will be released.
Official Optimus Prime Battle Blaster Images
TFW2005 have been provided with official images of the Optimus Prime Battle Blaster. The figure, which is part of the Transformers: Animated line, will be part of the first wave, and showing up in stores soon.
Official Photos of Cybertronian Optimus Prime & Starscream
Hasbro’s Official Transformers website has been updated with official photos of the Transformers Movie toys of Optimus Prime and Starscream in their Cybertronian forms. each figure will retail for $9.99 from 1st May in USA. The update can be found here with the details mirrored below
