Written by Darren 'Starscream' Jamieson on June 29, 2011 | Interviews,News,Transformers 3 (2011),Transformers: Dark of the Moon |

Grim Monkey and Percy from our Transformers forum travelled to London this past weekend to interview Michael Bay and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the UK premiere of Transformers Dark of the Moon. While on the blue carpet (not red) the lads found out Rosie’s favourite Transformers, asked her how she’d coped going from modelling underwear to acting in a feature film, and they questioned Michael Bay about his decision to put flames on Optimus Prime!

Watch the full interview of both Transformers legends right here – it’s a cracker.

Behind the scenes footage of Dark of the Moon skydiving crew released

Written by Tom Potts on June 10, 2011 | News,Transformers 3 (2011),Transformers: Dark of the Moon |

A brand new and exclusive video of behind the scene footage of Transformers Dark of the Moon has been released courtesy of Badass Digest of Slash film.

The video shows parts of the scene from Transformers Dark of the Moon that features the sky divers in the movie. This scene is one of the most eagerly anticipated from the movie and has not been kept a secret as it has been seen in the film’s trailer and has been mentioned by director Michael Bay in interviews many times.

skydivers-TF3featurette-goodtsr1

This is one of the scenes that has been spoken about the most and is set to show just how visually appealing Michael Bay’s decision to make the movie in 3D was.

The video itself focuses on J.T Holmes, who was one of the precision sky divers who worked on the film. The video is just over two and a half minutes long and, if you think the idea of some guys throwing themselves off virtually any building they can is for you then, it is well worth checking this out.

Just a few more weeks until the release of the film which has had its release date move forward by 2 days from the initial release date of July 1st. Paramount is set to release the film on the 29th June.

This summer is eagerly anticipated to be one of the best summers for films competing for the top spot at the box office with the 8th instalment of Harry Potter and X men making a return to the big screen.

Transformers Dark of the Moon Soundwave

Written by Grimmonkey on June 9, 2011 | News,Toys,Transformers: Dark of the Moon |

As yet, we have no official pictures of these, but Takara has anounced that for Transformers Dark of the Moon, Soundwave will definitely have an Earth mode and that it will be that of a Mercedes.

On top of that, he will be getting no less than three, yes THREE different toys, with the Human Alliance version coming with Laserbeak. I’m unsure why Soundwave is included in the HA series, seeing as the Decepticons want to KILL all the humans, but hey, if it looks as good as it sounds, I for one will be buying it, and you can bet your bottom dollar that our very own Smokesniper will be buying all three!!

We will be getting the Human Alliance version in October, soon to be followed by Deluxe and Cyberverse Legion versions!
