Comedian Ronnie Sperling has joined the cast of DreamWorks-Paramount’s “Transformers The Movie.” Appearing alongside Bernie Mac, Josh Duhamel and Jon Voight, Sperling will play a lead scientist in the movie based on the 1980s Hasbro toy line. He can be seen in the Nickelodeon movie “Zoey 101 Spring Break-Up.” Sperling is repped by Stage 9 Talent and K.S.A.

Don Murphy has provided some info on the movie and has revealed the a line from the script. SPOILERS follow…..
1) There will be some Transformers shown in prehistoric time
2) Optimus is a truck
3) It is less than 2 hours long.
4) Soundwave has a non-size shifting mode
5) No Dinobots are planned for this movie or sequels at this time.

OK UK Transformers fans, the date you all wanted, but not the right answer. UIP have announced the date for the Transformers movie as 27th July, over 3 weeks after the premier in North America. This is after The Philippines, Germany, Austria, USA, Belgium, France and The Netherlands.
