Transformers- we’re cloing in on a writer and choosing to go with a younger guy who grew up with the mythology.like all of you fans. Should be announced in the coming weeks. Dreamworks and Spielberg very much still want the film for Summer ’06 so it’ll be hard- but GOOD.
Die Hard Vs Transformers
Don’t worry, it isn’t one of the rubbish cross-over movies that should never be touched. It is the fact that 20th Century Fox have decided to premier “Live Free Or Die Hard”, the latest Die Hard film, on 29th June, 5 days before the opening of the Transformers movie.
Let the battle of the gigantic action films begin!

Don Murphy has announced that Dreamwaves is trying to secure a budget in the region of $125 million for the new Transformers Movie. He has also given fans a unique opportunity to create;
“a dvd/reel that is less than an hour that summarizes everything about the Transformers that the fans love. I don�t think any producer has ever opened this up like this before- let�s see what happens.”
Don went on to comment;
“I thought it would be great to actually have a physical reference reel that Bay, the actors, the producers, Spielberg- everybody could play it as a sort of �make sure we include as much of this as possible’ thing”.

Thousands of fans submitted their chance to have Optimus Prime speak their line of dialogue in the upcoming TRANSFORMERS movie, in theatres 7.4.7.
The TOP 100 Submissions are now posted at TransformersMovie.com.
The Voting Phase ends on OCTOBER 23rd.
The winning TOP 10 entries will be announced by November 9th.
During the Voting Phase of the contest, it is one vote per person, per email address used during the submission phase.
Webmasters must have submitted a line in order to have your vote count during this phase.
All users are encouraged to check out the finalists, but again � the only votes that will count are from those who submitted a line to the contest.

Live-Action Movie has a Screenwriter
John Rogers has been announced as the man to write the script for the upcoming Live-Action Movie. Mr Rogers has recently adapted another comic for the big screen, with last summers Catwomen. Now don’t panic, because the script is being based on a story by DeSanto (the guy who basically made X-Men 1 & 2 really good), and will always have Steven Spielberg as Executive Producer.

Transformers Movie Website Relaunched!
Their War. Our World. The new official Transformers movie website is now online from Paramount/Dreamworks. It features some flash animation showing the artistic style of the robots and a timer, counting down to the teaser trailer.
