Recently, many gaming and Transformers related websites were invited to play and see some of Activision’s Transformes The Game by British developer Traveller’s Tales for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and Vicarious Visions for the Nintendo DS.

We were invited but couldn’t make the trip from the UK to California, despite the game being developed down the road in Britain.

Transformers The Game from Activision has been rated PG by the BBFC in the UK. The info provided by the BBFC also gives us an idea of what is included in the game.

There seems to be some short extras involving Armada, Energon and Cybertron and lots of very short video clips before and after levels. Also mentioned are 163 images, probably unlockable extras.

In total there are 28 minutes and 12 seconds of footage.

We’ve just heard from our contact at Activision that Transformers The Game will NOT feature a split screen multiplayer feature, so you cannot play against your mates/family members on the one console.
