More than meets the….side of a police car.

With filming for Transformers 3 well underway in Washington D.C. you could be forgiven for thinking that this was all part of the movie.

Sadly, it wasn’t. While filming scenes, the Chevrolet Camaro portraying silent hero Bumblebee collided rather unceremoniously with a real-life police vehicle. The vehicle, according to D.C. Police is a part of the Explosives Ordnance Division, and was responding to a bomb threat. Although the roads were closed for filming, the emergency services will take the shortest route to an emergency – although as it turned out, the drivers shortcut was less than a perfect idea, as he obliviously drove into the path of the bright yellow Autobot

Evidently, Bumblebees voice isn\'t the only thing Ratchet needs to work on…

The UK has finally received the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen preview figures. Bumblebee and Soundwave.

The two deluxe figures have been sighted by multiple forum members in The Entertainer and Toymaster stores. Each figure costs the ridiculus price of £12.99, but given each characters popularity, expect them to shoot off the shelves very quickly.

Transformers Animated Toys found in Finland

The Nordic TransFans Association are reporting that the first sightings of Transformers: Animated figures in Finland. Found were the first wave of of deluxes Bumblebee, Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime, Lockdown and Prowl and voyagers Bulkhead, Megatron and Starscream in Citymarket in Helsinki. The cost for the figures are 19.90 and 34.90 euros.

Transformers DVD Bumblebee Mask Revealed

We’ve already seen the Optimus Prime mask that will be included with the re-release of Transformers on DVD, but now the Bumblebee mask has been released by Paramount Hom Entertainment.

This version will be exclusive to Wal*Mart stores (and online) in North America, and will be released on the 2nd September, the same day as the Optimus Prime mask version and the Blu-ray release.

On Saturday’s shoot at the Richmond Power Planet set, Ramon Rodriguez and Megan Fox were spotted by Mia (via Transformerslive.blogspot.com). Also present was everyone’s favourite Transformer, Bumblebee, driving them around.

With Rodriguez on set, it seems it is now confirmed that he is part of the cast.
