Alex Milne, who is the artist for IDW’s Transformers: The Reign of Starscream, has posted his cover for the 5th and final issue of the series on his DeviantArt page. The issue is due for release in August, but will probably come out in early September.
Reign of Starscream #4 is oiut on 13th August.
Chris Mowry has updated his blog with the news that the 5th and final issue of Transformers: The Reign of Starscream has been approved for print. Hopefully the issue can make it’s August release date, or at least early September.
Issues #1-3 have already been released, with issue #4 coming on 13th August.
If you plan on attending the San Deigo Comic-Con this week, Chris will be at the IDW booth from Wednesday night to Friday, and will be giving out new bits of information.
Competition time people, and a simply one at that. Writer Chris Mowry is offering fans a chance to win the original drafts and other bits of material from Reign of Starscream #1, copies of the finished issues #1, #2, and #3 and the scripts for the issues. All you have to do is take a picture of Starscream by 31st July. Simple. Full details can be found on Mowry’s blog.
So that’s the contest! Send me your photos of Starscream (in toy form… any version) visiting somewhere on our planet. Would he go back to Ohio to seek out the fembots of Botcon? Would he be hiding at a local coffee shop? Finally learning about human physiology at the beach with Barricade? Of course, he wouldn’t travel far without a copy of his comic book, now would he? Another blog post from Chris Mowry, and this time it is a 5 page preview for Issue #3 of Transformers: The Reign of Starscream.
As you recall, at the end of Issue #2, Starscream and Thundercracker are reunited at the Decepticon camp on Mars. Starscream was weakened from his exploits on Earth, but was slowly recovering. Much to their amazement, a group of Autobots had been patrolling the planet and had been alerted to their location.
Reign of Starscream #3 s out on 16th July, written by Chris Mowry and drawn by Alex Milne.
After the inked cover for Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starcream #4 was revealed earlier in the week by artist Alex Milne, writer for the series Chris Mowry has posted the fully colour version of the cover.
Reign of Starcsream #4 is released in late July, with Issue #3 released on 16th July, hopefully with no delays.
Artist Chris Mowry has updated his blog with a release date for his current series work, Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starscream #3 for 16th July. The title was originally due for June.
Also in the post is a postcard from Cybertron, “Wishing you were here”, but actually requesting help. It seems nothing changes on that planet.
Artist Alex Milne has updated his DeviantArt page with the fully coloured cover (without logos) of IDW’s Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starscream #3. The cover features Starscream and Arcee and a bit of Cliffjumper as well.
Issue #3 is due for release in July. Issue #2 came out last week.
