RETURN OF THE TRANSFORMERS

An erupting volcano revives battling robots who have lain dormant for millions of years. A Solar Needle is
constructed to pierce the sun and nearly wreaks havoc on the universe. Mechanical creatures modeled on fossilized dinosaurs battle tidal waves, floods, and earthquakes. It’s all in a day’s work for The Transformers.

One of the most successful toy lines in history, Transformers have also proven very popular on television for the past two decades. And as the folks at Rhino Home Video have discovered, DVD buyers can’t get enough
of these robots, either. March brings the final episodes of the original animated series to digital disc in the form of a 3-DVD boxed set of the remaining shows from Season 3 and the complete Season 4. The new collection also includes a pair of collectible Transformers cells, behind-the-scenes interviews, and the feature-length program The Rebirth Trilogy.

And even though this is the last of the original series, don’t despair, Transformer fans numerous (and ongoing) spin-offs have proven as indestructible as Optimus Prime…
