Hasbro UK seem to be on the ball with updating their online store, and also feel there is enough popularity in the UK for more Transformers movie toys. There are 6 new Fast Action Battlers and 2 new Voyagers, which are part of the Premium Series line.

It was rumoured that the Premium Series wouldn’t be released outside North Amercia, but it seems Hasbro have done something right. Long may it continue!

Simon Furman’s Thoughts Titan Transformers #14

After the details we provided yesterday on Titan’s Transformers (UK) #14, writer Simon Furman has added his thoughts to the story he wrote, Aftermath Part 1. As is customary in his blog posts, he has given a general outline of the story, so beware of spoilers.

First Titan Transformers #14 Details

Titan Magazines have updated their Transformers magazine website with details on the latest issue, which is being released this Thursday in the UK. Transformers #14 features a new story from Simon Furman, Aftermath #1, which continues the events of Twilight’s Last Gleaming.

The magazine will also contain material from IDW’s Beast Wars the Ascending and Megatron Origin, and contains the usual features including a robot blaster.

Universe Deluxe Wave 1 on Hasbro Toy Store UK

Hasbro UK have updated their online toy store with the first wave deluxe figures of the Transformers: Universe line. Listed are Prowl, Sunstreaker and Tankor, each for the high price of £12.99. To put this in context, this equates to roughly $25 each, compared to $9.99 in the USA.

All can be bought now, are should be in other stores very soon.

Transformers: Animated Activators out in UK

TF@TM member Break has posted that he has found the first wave of Transformers Animated Activators at his local Toys R Us store. At the weekend he spotted the first wave of Activators, Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Starscream, which all cost £4.99 each.

These were released in the USA last month, with wave 2 due there in August.

Big title, big news, with lots more Transformers: Animated toys having been released in the UK today.

First, voyager class Optimus Prime (earth mode) has been spotted in the Forbidden Planet International store in Edinburgh, costing £19.99. This is a wave 3 figure. Also out are leader class Megatron and Bulkhead (with Headmaster), each in a different Toys R Us store, and costing £39.99. For the same price, Roll Out & Command Optimus Prime was found at Toys R Us in Aberdeen. All three figures are wave 1.

Be on the look out for Lugnut and Grimlock, the wave 2 voyager figures. Happy Hunting!

Animated Season 1 due for UK on 20th October

For all UK readers who are sick of needless delays, price rises and excuses from major international companies, it’s time to get your pitch forks out again. Paramount Home Entertainment have announced that Transformers: Animated Season One will be released in the UK on 20th October! This is over 2 months after the North American release of 19th August.

Reasons for this delay aren’t known, they probably don’t care about us…

Titan Producing Animated Comic in UK

This Thursday marks the release of Titan Magazine’s Transformers #13, completing the Twilight’s Last Gleaming story. Also in the magazine is confirmation that Titan will soon be producing a Transformers: Animated comic series, exclusively for the UK.

No specific dates on when it will start or what sort of stories we can expect, but Simon Furman will be posting more on his blog later this week, hopefully with some details.

Universe Legends Starscream, Onslaught and Red Alert out in UK

With the first wave of Transformers: Animated figures being released last month, it seemed that the release dates of May and August for the Animated and Universe lines were true, but Hasbro UK has done something different and decide to release the first Transformers: Universe toys in the UK now.

Perceptor has found Transformers: Universe Legends Starscream, Onslaught and Red Alert, all wave 1 figures.

Also of note is that he has spotted some of the wave 5 Transformers movie voyager figures, Incinerator and First Strike Prime. Expect to see them and Evac and Off Road Ironhide very soon.

Reminder: New Animated Episode: #26 Black Friday

Another new Transformers: Animated episode will be airing today in the UK. Episode 26, “Black Friday” will be on at 6:30pm on NickToons. This is the first airing of the episode in English, after the episode aired in Dubai last month.

On the trail of an escaped Autobot traitor, Bumblebee flashes back to a previous encounter with the traitor when he first met Bulkhead in Autobot Boot Camp.
