Paramount Home Entertainment have today released Transformers: Animated Volume 1 – Blast From The Past on DVD in the UK.
Unlike the USA edition, which contain all 13 episodes of the first season, Paramount have decided to only release 4 episodes on 1 disc to the UK audience, at an inflated price, and with no extra features.
Just 2 Transformers comics this week, the first being The Transformers: All Hail Megatron #4, continuing the Decepticons reign of Earth, and Transformers: Animated Volume 5, the screenshots of the cartoon series.

TFW2005‘s source is confirming that Arcee will be formed by the combination of three motorcycles.
Seibertron‘s souce reports that Ravage uses biological warfare against the humans, Jetfire has an ability that can create wormholes and that Scorpinok will return from the first film. What’s interesting is that Seibertron’s source mentions that the Arcee motorcycles have not been seen of set for months.
Woolworths are having a 3 for 2 offer on most Transformers toys this weekend, so get down to your local store and pick up those Animated/Universe/Movie toys you haven’t picked up yet.

Hasbro UK have updated their Toy Store with three new Transformers: Universe figures, Sideswipe, Silverstreak and Ironhide. All cost the higher than normal price of £12.99 and are all part of the wave 3 deluxe line.

Also out in the UK is a new Transformers movie figure, Deep Space Starscream, who was an exclusive figure for Target stores in the USA. It is a repaint of voyager Starscream, but surprisingly, only costs £9.99.

Variety are reporting that Paramount Germany will be releasing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in Germany on 25th June, a day before the North American launch.
Other international release dates should become apparent over the next few months. Expect the UK and Nordic countries to have to wait a month after the premiere.
