UK comic store OneShallStand.com have managed to interview All Hail Megatron writer Shane McCarthy.
They discuss his work in the comic industry and how he managed to get a job on a Transformers project. He also answers some of the criticism that the series has received and some of the unanswered plots, like the Autobot traitor, which will be revealed in issue #8, and what his next project might be after All Hail Megatron.
Unicron.com have received some official Cartoon Network Studios, showing bits of artwork of Transformers: Animated Perceptor.
Perceptor will be making his first appearance in episode 30, the first episode of the third season, and will transform into truck, but with the added bonus that the back of this truck converts into a lab with microscope.
There is currently no date for Transformers: Animated season 3, except rumours have it airing some time in the spring.

Interesting, Transformers: Animated The Arrival #6 has completely disappeared, with no word on whether it will be released without Jetfire and Jetstorm figures.
Following on from news of next weeks Defiance #1, IDW Editor Denton J. Tipton has confirmed that popular Transformers artist Don Figueroa will be returning to the franchise with work on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Defiance #3, with a line art drawing to keep you busy with.
The third issue is due out in March.
Next week sees the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Defiance, the second 4 issue prequel, and writer Chris Mowry has decided to clarify some misconceptions about the series.
Unlike, Alliance, which takes place between The Reign of Starscream and the sequel, Defiance takes place before the first movie, but still links into Revenge of the Fallen and possibly future stories as well. Josh Perez is on colours again, with Dan Khanna and Andrew Griffith on art duties.
As a bonus, Comics Continuum have posted a 5 page preview with the 3 covers as well.
IGN managed to get a quick work with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen writer Roberto Orci at the Television Critics Association press tour, where he confirmed one character by name and another by the type of Transformer. SPOILERS FOLLOW
A picture had previously been seen of him, but it’s now pretty much confirmed that Ravage will be appearing in the sequel, but also a Pretender, which for anyone not in the know, is a bot inside an outer shell disguise, most likely a human.
Million Hero are reporting that there is going to be a new Transformers Generations book, but instead of just one book, there will be three.
The first book, Transformers Generations 2009 Vol. 1, is due out on 16th February, with the second in April, and the third in June. It isn’t known what content will be in the book, but it is hoped that the volumes will expand beyond Generation One and Generation Two that the original and deluxe versions focused on, with Beast Era and Unicron Trilogy content.
Two releases this week, both from different eras of Transformers.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Alliance #2 continues the prequel story to Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. A 5 page preview of Alliance #2 has already been revealed.
Transformers: Armada, Vol. 2 TPB is a reprint of Dreamwave’s Armada series, issues #7-12. The cover for which can be found on Chris Ryall’s blog.
Some new pictures of the custom TFC-004 Gear of War set are now up on HK-TF.com.
The pictures show close up details of Inferno and his accessories as well as the Soundwave cassette drone.
