Allspark.com member Nebucron has posted the first sighting of the third wave of the Transformers: Animated figures. At a Target in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, wave 3 deluxe figures Oil Slick, Jazz, Soundwave and Snarl have all been found.
Hopefully a European release will be soon.
TFW2005 have been provided with official images of the Optimus Prime Battle Blaster. The figure, which is part of the Transformers: Animated line, will be part of the first wave, and showing up in stores soon.
Digital-Toys.com have received some news from Japan of some new toys coming later this year from TakaraTomy.
The next Masterpiece figure has apparently been revealed as MP-07 Thundercracker, due for release in November. Also listed are 2 versions of a new figure, which transforms into a silver or red Nissan GT-R. This will also be on sale from November. Judging by the listing and rumour going around, it seems to be part of the Binaltech line.
Continuing the Henkei line, the following are listed for release in October:
C-09 Lamborghini
C-10 Streak
C-11 Ironhide
C-12 Ratchet

More bargin hunting by forum member iprimus has uncovered that Toys R Us are having a 3 for 2 offer on ALL Transformers toys. This includes all size class figures and all the other related bits of merchandise. So if you’ve missed any Movie or Animated toys, be sure to get them now.
Forum member iprimus brings us the best news ever, with details that Argos are having a sale on some Transformers toys, including Alternators and Transformers movie figures.
The best deal is the half price on Transformers movie deluxe and cyberslammer figures or massive reductions on Alternators Wheeljack and Ravage.
A poster has provided pictures of the Transformers Henkei Thundercracker and Skywarp figures from TakaraTomy. These repaints never appeared in Hasbro’s Classics line, but similar designs were used as BotCon exclusives.

TFcon have updated their website with news that the first waves of the Transformers: Universe will be available at the convention, which takes place on 21st June.
The bulletin lists the toys as “not yet hit mass retail anywhere in the world”, which is slightly incorrect, as the first wave legend figures are being sold in the UK right now.
June 14th – Transformers Universe figures will be available at TFcon Toronto next weekend. While Universe has not yet hit mass retail anywhere in the world we are pleased to be able to announce that there will be Transformers Universe figures available for sale at TFcon on June 21st. On a side note we’d like to remind our American guests, a passport is only required if you are flying into Canada. Americans driving into Canada DO NOT need a passport to cross in either direction. Visitors may be asked to verify citizenship and should therefore carry any one of the following documents: birth certificate, naturalization certificate, Green Card or passport. Photo identification is also required so visitors should carry their driver’s license or other photo ID with them.
BigPhill of TFW2005 has spotted 2 new Transformers movie toys in the UK, with them being voyagers Mudflap and Inferno.
Both are repaints of Cybertron and Armada figures, and feature in European packaging (with the toy on the box). They were found in Toys R Us and were Toys R Us exclusives in the USA.
With the first wave of Transformers: Animated figures being released last month, it seemed that the release dates of May and August for the Animated and Universe lines were true, but Hasbro UK has done something different and decide to release the first Transformers: Universe toys in the UK now.
Perceptor has found Transformers: Universe Legends Starscream, Onslaught and Red Alert, all wave 1 figures.
Also of note is that he has spotted some of the wave 5 Transformers movie voyager figures, Incinerator and First Strike Prime. Expect to see them and Evac and Off Road Ironhide very soon.
TFW2005.com has received official images of the international packaging for Autobot Blaster and Heavy Load from the Transformers Universe line. Both figures are Voyager class and are part of the first wave, so expect to see them as part of the first releases in August.
The images show the figures both in-package and out of package.
