Transformers Comics For December 2008 From IDW

Written by Big Bot on September 15, 2008 | Comics,IDW Publishing,News | Tags: , ,

December looks like being a good end to the year for Transformers comic fans with 6 releases from a verity of stories and continuities.

First up is Transformers: The Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Destiny: Alliance #1, which wins the award for longest title ever. This is the first of 8 issues that will connect the first film to the sequel.

The Transformers: Maximum Dinobots #1 is Simon Furman’s continuation of his IDW story, following on from Spotlight: Grimlock, but this time featuring all the Dinobots. The Transformers: All Hail Megatron #6 concludes the first half of the Shane McCarthy written series.

Transformers Animated: Arrival #5 is the final issue in the series based within the cartoon universe, and given the positive reaction to the series, expect more in the future.

The Transformers: Best of the UK: Time Wars #5 completes the reprint from the Marvel UK story of the same name.

Finally, there is Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye, Vol. 2 TPB, which is a reprint of the second half of Dreamwave’s MTMTE series from 2003.
