More Ark additions, this time with some concepts for the Generation One episode, Megatron’s Master Plan. The 2 part episodes sees the Decepticons trick the humans into thinking they are good, and the Autobots are evil.
Jim Sorenson has put up a page of designs that showed how humans celebrated the Decepticons.
This weeks only new comic material is Transformers: Animated: The Arrival #5, which continues the in continuity stores from writer Marty Isenberg. A 5 page preview has been put up, which features material from the main story starring Optimus Prime in the Autobot Academy.

Two photos of Alternity Megatron have appeared on Amazon Japan’s listing page, showing the figure in its prototype form. The first photo of his robot mode, shows he holding 2 swords, reminsiant of Animated Megatron, whilst the second shows a front view of the car mode.
Wal*Mart.com have provided the first images of some new Transfromers Animated Bumper Battlers, Autobot Stealth Ninja Jazz and Workzone Bulkhead.
No date has been provided, so look out or them next year as part of the 5th wave (probably).
For the third time, RID is being released on DVD in the UK today, but unlike previous attempts in 2004/05 and 2007, this package is one complete set with all 39 episodes spread over 6 discs, titled Transformers: Robots In Disguise Ultimate Collection.
There are still no extra features, but 39 episodes for £11.99 is a bargin in anyone’s book (take note Paramount!). The cover is also a combination of last years covers, and is rated PG, not U has most covers indicate.
Everything in IDW’s catalogue is arriving 1 day later this week, so no need to get angry. This week sees two releases, Transformers: Best of UK: Time Wars #5, the final part of the Marvel UK story reprint, and Transformers Animated: The Arrival #5, the penultimate issue of the series.

Bad news people, after two Beast Wars comics series and a set of sourcebooks, it seems we will not be getting any more for the foreseeable future. Editor Denton J. Tipton has posted the announcement on the IDW forums, but didn’t give a reason. Most likely it is due to the large number of comics planned for 2009, with lots Revenge of the Fallen comics coming.
I’m sorry to report that there are no Beast Wars minis planned for the near future.
At least this gives me time to complete my Beast Wars story.
A poster at Actoys.net has compiled a group of images together which provide a good indication of how tall Masterpiece Grimlock will be.
As you can seem he will be slightly shorter than Masterpiece Optimus Prime in robot mode, but his dino mode will be the same height as Prime. This should help it fit in with other Masterpiece figures.
Multiple sightings (including my own) have reported that Transformers Universe ultras Silverbolt and Storm Cloud are out now in the UK, having been found in Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores. The figures cost £24.99 each and are waves 2 and 3 respectively. The figures can also be found on Hasbro Toy Shop, here and here.
