Transformers 2 Game Details leaked Out!

Recently, a lot of details have been leaked about Microsoft’s future Xbox 360 plans, including many titles from Activision. Inbetween all the Forza 3, Tony Hawk, Spider-Man and Call of Duty news, there was some on the next Transformers game from Acitivision, Transformers 2: The Ultimate Battle.

The game will let you play as both Autobots or Decepticons, with destructible environments, new transformations and will online play, probably only on certain consoles. No news on a release date, but expect full details to be given at E3 next month.

The game is due lanuch on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and again with two versions for the Nintendo DS.

On Saturday’s shoot at the Richmond Power Planet set, Ramon Rodriguez and Megan Fox were spotted by Mia (via Transformerslive.blogspot.com). Also present was everyone’s favourite Transformer, Bumblebee, driving them around.

With Rodriguez on set, it seems it is now confirmed that he is part of the cast.

More photos from the recent chase scene shoot at 25th and Washington have appeared, and in them a car of unknown anything. Is it a Transformer, a stunt car, or just something to mislead the fans. There are also bullet holes, so it must be of some importance.

It’s hard to tell what make and model the car is due to the size of the photos, but a 2008 Saturn Astra isn’t a bad guess.

Movie Chronicles have posted a report with pictures and a video of Shia LaBoeuf and Isabel Lucas during a night shoot at UPENN. The scene also involves Bumblebee performing a 180 degree skid and Michael Bay going over the scene with the actors.

Artist Chris Mowry has updated his blog with a release date for his current series work, Transformers Movie Sequel: The Reign of Starscream #3 for 16th July. The title was originally due for June.

Also in the post is a postcard from Cybertron, “Wishing you were here”, but actually requesting help. It seems nothing changes on that planet.

Donald MacKay in Transformers 2?

Actor Donald Sage MacKay has updated his resume showing that he will have a role in Transformers II.

All that is revealed about his role is that he is playing a “Supporting” role. This could be either a human or a Transformer. Hopefully some more confirmed details will be revealed soon.

Transformers 2 Filming at University of Pennsylvania Starts Today

Slashfilm.com reports that filming for Transformers 2 takes place this week at the University of Pennsylvania. Filming will run from 10th June to 15th June at the Castle fraternity and 10th to 12th at the Quad.

To the Penn Community:

DreamWorks Productions will be filming scenes for the upcoming movie “Transformers 2″ on Penn’s campus this week. The filming will take place in the Quad and both inside and outside the Psi Upsilon (Castle) fraternity on Locust Walk. Both Penn and DreamWorks staff will be on hand to help guide people around the area during filming in an effort to minimize any inconvenience.

Setup, filming, and set deconstruction are scheduled for the Quad from June 10 through June 12 and for the Castle fraternity from June 10 through June 15.

Saab Aero-X in Transformers II

According to the Saab History website, the Saab Aero-X will be used as the Autobot Wheeljack in Transformers 2. If you look at the design of the car, you can seem many similarities to the G1 design.

This is considered a rumour for now, but one aspect that backs this up is that Saab is a subsidiary of General Motors, who, if you watched the first film, will know that they supplied most of the vehicle, and will do so again for the sequel.

Powet.tv has posted a full report with pictures and a description of the filming taking place from Philadelphia radio presenter Josh Landow.

In the report, Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, and John Tuturro are mentioned as being on site, but no Transformers, or what may be Transformers, have been sighted. However, Michael Bay seems to be happy.
