Burger King and TransformersFast food chain Burger King has signed a 3 picture deal to offer promotional toys for the movies: Star Trek, G.I. Joe and Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

The details of the Transformers toys offered by Burger King are:

TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

Transform Your Way(TM): Starting June 22, fans can look forward to the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen promotion, which will give guests the chance to take home a range of prizes, from $1 million cash to a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro to movie passes and instant-win food items like the CROISSAN’WICH(R) and WHOPPER(R) sandwich. As part of the Transform Your Way(TM) scratch-and-win game, game pieces will be available on specially marked menu items. BURGER KING(R) will also give guests a second chance to win at bktransformers.com, where consumers can navigate interactive online applications to enter daily for a chance to win $10,000.

New BK BBQ DOUBLE STACKTICON(TM) sandwich: The BURGER KING(R) menu will undergo a transformation with this new sandwich. Available for a limited time only for a suggested retail price starting at $2.79 the Transformers-inspired burger allows guests to stack multiple burger patties, bacon, sauce and cheese similar in theme to the “combining” of Transformers characters in the upcoming film.

Advertising by film director Michael Bay: Blockbuster director, Michael Bay, directed the national kid’s television advertising spots that will turn the BURGER KING(R) dining experience on its head. In addition, each BK(R) Kids Meal will come with one of eight Transformers toys that bring the beloved characters and vehicles from the movie to life.

This deal between Burger King and Paramount represents the first movie merchandise deal for Paramount that stretches across more than one movie franchise. LeeAnne Stables is the executive VP for marketing for Paramount. She states:

Burger King has been an excellent partner for us because of the volume of customer traffic.

Burger King and Paramount have enjoyed partnerships before, on the 2007 movie Transformers and 2008’s Iron Man.

The best news yet for Transformers fans is that Transformers 2 director Michael Bay is set to direct a special Burger King advert for Transformers. This ensures that the TV spot for BK has the same style as the much anticipated movie, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

Transformers Shia LaBeouf speaks about his car accident

Written by Darren 'Starscream' Jamieson on May 4, 2009 | News,Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen |

Shia LaBeoufFresh from fighting the Decepticons on set in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, actor Shia LaBeouf (who plays Sam Witwicky) has spoken of his big mistake which left his left hand mangled.

It wasn’t a filming error either, as you’d have expected from battling Decepticons. No, Shia rolled his truck last summer and admits that the accident was a mistake he’ll live with for the rest of his life. He has been told that the injury to his hand will never properly heal, so severe was the accident.

Shia was speaking in an interview for June’s issue of Playboy.

I can’t zipper my zipper or button my shirt without extreme pain.

But I chalk it up as my own s**t. These things had to happen. This accident is what I needed in my life. I’m not in control. For the first time, I can admit that and know that. I’m a fallible individual, and the hand is like a tattoo that says Mistake.

It’s something I’ll have to live with for the rest of my life.

Megan Fox draped over the bike in Transformers 2

It’s quite incredible. The new trailer for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was released today and there’s just one thing everyone’s talking about: this photo of Megan Fox draped over a motorcycle.

With that in mind we thought we just had to upload it here, as so many people are looking for it.

So what do you think will be the star of Transformers 2? Will it be Bumblebee, will it be Optimus Prime or maybe the Fallen? Or, as seems most likely, will Megan Fox and her denim shorts be the star of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen?

We know what our money’s on.

Finally the new full trailer for Transformers 2, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, is available to view in glorious high quality. Those dodgy YouTube copies wetted our appetite, but this will show you just how cool Michael Bay’s Transformers sequel is, and just how good Megan Fox looks on that bike.

You can even watch this full screen, it’s good enough.

Transformers star Josh Duhamel to drive Bumblebee at Indianapolis 500

Written by Darren 'Starscream' Jamieson on April 30, 2009 | News,Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen |

Josh Duhamel, star of Transformers and Transformers 2, is to drive the pace car at the Indianapolis 500 on May 24th. The pace car, in case you wondering, is Bumblebee – a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car.

Duhamel reprises his role as Major Lennox in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen this summer, and is delighted to have been chosen to drive Bumblebee (sorry, the pace car) and the race in May.

The Indy 500 is a legendary race, and it’s a great honor to be driving the Camaro Pace Car in it.

That’s one mean looking pace car!

New Transformers 2 photo of Megan Fox released

Written by Darren 'Starscream' Jamieson on | News,Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen |

With the Transformers trailer due for ‘official’ release tomorrow, a new photo of Megan Fox from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen has been released to get you in the mood. It does just that doesn’t it?

Megan has also been interviewed here, where she’s mentioned a few secrets from the set of Transformers 2, including how she spends most of the film running from Decepticons… we could have guessed that one though.

When asked about her on-screen romance with Shia LaBeouf, Megan stated:

It’s always weird. That’s not something that’s ever romantic or sexy. Doing an on-set kiss is just strange, and knowing Shia so well makes it even more strange.

Megan was then asked just how good a kisser Shia actually was (cos seemingly girls want to know).

[Laughs.] Very good.

There you have it ladies, Shia’s a good kisser. Megan talked about how she had to run from Decepticons wearing heels, which is no mean feat.

Stilettos — and for the last part of the film, motorcycle boots. I had major shinsplints and threw out my back a couple times. Beyond that, Michael likes everyone freakishly tan, so we were painted maroon, like in the old Westerns when they hired Caucasians to play Native Americans. I had on fake eyelashes, running through the desert with sand stuck in them, and I’m sweating off all the makeup. It looked like we were making a tragedy.

You can read the full interview here.
