Megan Fox in Transformers 2Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is just one month away now and the excitement for the Michael Bay sequel to 2007’s Transformers is hitting fever pitch. Some new photos from the movie have just been released, including a shot of the Autobots ‘rolling out’, a photo of Optimus Prime in truck mode and Sam Witwicky with Bumblebee.

The only photo people will really be interested in however is this one of Megan Fox, as pictures of Megan Fox always draw excitement here at TheTransformers.Net.

We like her.

Stan Bush rerecords The Touch for Transformers 2

Written by Darren 'Starscream' Jamieson on May 15, 2009 | Multimedia,News,Transformers The Movie (1986),Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen |

When we first heard this we have to admit, we thought it was a hoax story, or someone had got the wrong end of the stick. But now, rock legend (at least to Transformers fans) Stan Bush has re-recorded a version of the orginal 1986 Transformers Movie’s anthem ‘The Touch’ in the hope that it will be used in the new Transformers sequel, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

Fans of the original will know just how inspiring The Touch can be and how it always reminds them of Optimus Prime cutting a swathe through Decepticons. This new, updated, version is very different and even features a rap, but in a good way. Have a watch of the video, which features clips from both Michael Bay Transformers movies, and see what you think.

We suggest it’s time to get hunting. The toys are coming.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Opening on 19th June in UK!

After disappointing UK fans with the first Transformers movie in 2007, Paramount Pictures UK seem to be making it up to us with all signs pointing towards an even earlier release than expected for this years most anticipated film, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

The Official Revenge of the Fallen website, and Paramount UK’s own page has the the date as 19th June, 5 days earlier than before, and ahead of most of the world. We’ll be sure to get confirmation from Paramount UK if this news turns out to be true or just false hope.
