Don Murphy Posts Some Comments

Don Murphy’s back with a very long and uninteresting post on his forums, the majority of which has nothing to do with Transformers, but Don’s other projects.

He starts of with the usual movie publicity speak, saying that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be like the first, but with more robots and even more exciting and will entertain you more.

He also states that they are holding off any publicity until the last minuite, like Pirates of the Caribbean. This means we probably won’t get a trailer until March at the earliest.

New Transformers 2 Title?

Apparently, Dreamworks and Paramount Pictures have released the full name of Transformers 2 to be Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

There hasn’t been any confirmation from Paramount of this name, and the only person involved with the film to make an response is Don Murphy, who has simply linked to the article from his message board. “Revenge of the Fallen” appeared as a trademark filed by Hasbro last month.

The Fallen is a character that first appeared in Dreamwave’s War Within: The Dark Ages comic series, and later made into a toy for the Titanium line. The title could also mean the fallen Decepticons from the first film, as Reserve Result also received an image of Megatron with the title.

Both Jobs are very important in the making of a major summer blockbuster. I hope that all those who hate Arcee will be gracious to those who love her. And to all those who wanted to see her, you should know the decision was not based on a mere dislike of the character, nor an attempt to defeminize the franchise. The decision is, at this point, story driven.
