Empire Magazine have the first official shots from the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The 3 stills are from the Cairo set, with Shia and Megan running about and some cars being flipped.
The cover (below) features Optimus Prime in a similar style to a previous cover, but with some slight bodily changes.
Revenge of the Fallen Chevy Volt Name Revealed
TF08.net have posted another message with a picture that reveals the name of the Chevy Volt that will be appearing in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The character’s name is Jolt, and the picture shows the back of his Fast Action Battler packaging, which shows his bio, tech specs and both his alt and robot modes.
The packaging also reveals a details about the plot for the sequel, so for anyone wanting to avoid spoilers, you have been warned!
Out of Package Shots of Legends ROTF Jetfire and Universe Wheelie
yizhi521 of TF08.net has posted lots of new photos of 2 upcoming toys, one of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen legend Jetfire, and the other of Transformers Universe Wheelie.
Jetfire can be seen baring some fancy teeth, whilst Wheelie sports a similar face to his G1 mould.
UK Revenge of the Fallen Release Date
TF@TM have received word from Paramount Pictures UK that the UK premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be on 26th June 2009 at The Odeon Leicester Square. The film will either be released nationwide that week, or the following Friday. Also, look out for news of preview screens coming soon.
This seems like good news, considering the first movie was released a month after the North American debut. So far nearly all the confirmed dates for the sequel’s release are on 25th or 26th June, with only France being forced to wait until 8th July.
First Images of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Legends Toys in Package
TFW2005 have received photos of 4 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen legends figures, all in their packaging.
There are the expected characters, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, but also 2 of the new characters, Jetfire and Autobot Springer. The packaging confirms that Jetfire will be a Decepticon in the sequel.
Unknown Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Scout Stealth Boat
As it says on the tin, S250 has posted some pictures of a Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toy prototype.
The figure, shown below, transforms into a stealth boat, and is a scout class size toy. It isn’t known which character this is, or even if he appears in the film.
