Transformers movie release dates in Nordic Countries

Groundsplitter of NTFA.net has posted some information on the different release dates of the Transformers movie in the Nordic countries. Here is what he has written

Will the Transformers film premiere on different dates in the Nordic countries? According to IMDB and one other site I found, Norwegian theaters will start showing the film on 13 July, while several Swedish film sites lists 3 August as the premiere date, three weeks later.
Apparently the film was slated for a 13 July premiere in Sweden too at some point, but the date has been delayed for some reason.

I haven’t found any release dates for Denmark or Finland. Does anyone have any info?

There is also no information on a UK release date.

MovieWeb have recently interviewed with Tyrese Gibson, asking some questions about the filming of the Transformers Movie and his experiences in the movie business.

Is this the biggest movie you’ve done?

Tyrese Gibson Yeah, it’s ridiculous, it’s out of control; I’m having post war syndrome. What do you call it? Things are just blowing up around me all the time; I’m waking up to explosions.

How long have you been shooting it?

Tyrese Gibson I’m four weeks into it right now; we’re moving everything out here to Los Angeles starting this week. I actually have to go back; I was just with Bay last night, and we shot all day yesterday and then I got on a plane last night to come here. Then I have to go back out there; we’re shooting at the Hoover Dam in Vegas right now. I have to go back there today; it’s ridiculous.

Tyrese also mentioned working with a cast of equals and being in a film with so many people who respect each other. He gave us a new addition to the cast of Transformers that we didn’t know before – John Turturro. “Right now, I’m working with Jon Voight and John Turturro and its just crazy; that’s as real as it gets. I’m pickin’ their brain; I call Jon Voight my pops now cause he’s just a mentor, he’s lettin’ me in on everything.”

More Hoover Dam Pictures

Scooper ‘Optimus Prime’ of SuperHeroHype has taken more photos of the set at Hoover Dam and has posted the following report

I was on the Transformers shoot also and was down inside the generator room for the shots there on the first day.I did see The transformer thingy down in the generator room. Huge! It did not transform though, special effects guys working on it said it would all be done by computer effects. It had to be 25 feet tall and was on a railcar. Had some airbags under it to simulate it struggling against the straps holding it on the railcar.

We shot some scenes with Voight and S.W.A.T. teams in a tunnel going into the side of the gorge at the bottom of the dam, very spooky place with smoke effects and strange machinery lining the walls.

Airman trains Hollywood actors for ‘Transformers’ movie

The Official website of the United States Air Force has written another article about the filming of the Transformers movie. Here is a sample from the article:

Master Sgt. Ray Bolinger, combat controller with the 22nd Special Tactics Squadron at McChord Air Force Base, Wash., trained Tyrese Gibson, one of the lead actors, on the mannerisms and language of a combat controller.

“I am his combat control technical adviser,” he said. “I taught him the authentic dialogue of calling in an air strike.”

As an Air Force combat controller, Sergeant Bolinger provides air and ground interface, is a certified air traffic controller and calls in air strike attacks when in war.
